Micah and Benny

Remember way back when in August of 2011
when I did my very first shoot on the cutest little boy, Benny?

Well he's back cuter than ever
and...

he has a new baby brother!
Welcome to the world Micah!!

Got the fabulous opportunity to shoot Micah's newborn pictures
as well as shoot some of Benny, now that he just turned 2 years old!

What an amazing little family you have Jackie!
Special thanks to my photography partner in crime, Holly for helping out!

(Totally forgot to mention in previous posts....
For christmas, my wonderful family gave me an external flash
AND my very own 50mm lens!!)

I don't know if it's just me, but it makes the world of a difference
in my photos. I am in love.

New York City

So the day after our engagement,
Pete and I got the opportunity to celebrate
IN NEW YORK CITY!

We have very very good friends that live out there
and had already decided we'd be going out to visit,
so the timing was perfect.

This was our second time out there together,
so we didn't have to do so many touristy things!

But of course I documented the trip in photos.
Enjoy...

I'M ENGAGED!!

Holy Bananas.

It's been over a month since I've posted and
HOLY BANANAS,
do I have a lot to catch up on.

Let's start with the most wonderful and exciting news,
the one that every little girl dreams of.

I got ENGAGED on January 4th, 2012
to my wonderful, sneaky, and romantic boyfriend of 6years.
I couldn't be happier and we've been so enthralled in
starting the wedding planning that my photography has
taken a little bit of a  back burner.

But I'm BACK.

The following photos are from my engagement.
Pete was super sneaky and taught his best friend how to use my
DSLR so that he could take pictures during the proposal.

These photos are so special to me.
He proposed in Rice Park in Downtown St. Paul
after we had an amazing dinner at the St. Paul Grill.

Cheers!
and a (late) HAPPY 2012!
